Visiting

Palmerston and District Hospital (PDH) Outbreak Declared Over

As of April 12th, 2024, the COVID-19 Outbreak at PDH has been declared over. Masks are no longer mandatory, they are still encouraged to keep yourself and others safe and healthy. Regular inpatient visiting has resumed. Please do not visit a patient if you are feeling unwell.

Visiting Guidelines

As of April 8, 2024, North Wellington Health Care has a Mask-Friendly Policy.

Our staff, patients, families, caregivers and volunteers are encouraged but no longer required to wear masks in our hospitals - except for in Oncology. If you have respiratory symptoms, please put on a mask.

Currently, we are allowing two-partners in care (visitors) per patient, at one time. Special exceptions are made for palliative patients. Please check at the Nursing Care Desk if you have questions or are unsure.
