New Rural Physician Joins North Wellington Health Care and Mount Forest Family Health Team

Mount Forest, ON… Rural Family Physician, Dr. Natalya O’Neill, has recently joined North Wellington Health Care and the Mount Forest Family Health Team.

Dr. O’Neill has taken over the practice of recently retired physician, Dr. Hugh Perrin. Dr. O’Neill works alongside Dr. John Reaume, Dr. Alex Goytisolo, Dr. Julie Weinstein, Dr. Melanie Maurus, Dr. Russell Law and Dr. Christopher Rowley. Her office is in the Claire Stewart Medical Clinic, across from Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest.


Dr. O’Neill is honoured to be a family physician in a rural community. “I am professionally and personally fulfilled with the broad scope of practice and the opportunity to deliver longitudinal care” explains Dr. O’Neill.


Along with her new practice, Dr. O’Neill has joined the North Wellington Health Care team and will provide hospital care, general practitioner oncology, and emergency medicine at Louise Marshall Hospital. Dr. O’Neill gained valuable experience completing her residency in Mount Forest under the mentorship of Dr. Reaume.

I enjoy working with this team that fosters the spirited initiative and resourcefulness necessary to have a successful career in rural medicine” Dr. O’Neill explains. “I look forward to every workday because I am able to follow my passion for comprehensive rural family medicine while collaborating with a dedicated, caring and supportive healthcare team.”


Originally from Owen Sound, Dr. O’Neill is excited to be able to give back to a community that has provided her with happiness in both her life and professional career.
